My favorite people in the world work in this company. I’m related to some of them, but I relate to all of them. They are my favorite people for a few reasons. First and foremost, they are truly committed to doing good work for patients that give us the honor of serving them. Second, they are smart and continually find ways to innovate and improve the work we do. Third, they consistently live out a commitment to the virtue of work hard. Fourth, they are funny and don’t take themselves too seriously.

I’m blessed because I get to be around them, and do good work with them, and learn from them. I get see them grow personally and professionally. I get to meet their families at our numerous company functions, and I get to watch their kids grow up with mine. I get to know them, and I’m a better person for having known them.

Over the course of my working years, I’ve worked with numerous companies in various industries in different countries. But what I remember most about those experiences is not the nature of the work I did, or the names of the companies I did it for, or the city or country in which I performed the work. But rather, it’s the people I worked with that I remember most.

My best memories are of working with the best people. And my favorite people in the world work in this company.

Alisa Sanders, RN, IBCLC, RLC Director Clinical Support Services

The science of breastmilk is my passion. I have over 30 years of experience working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric offices, and even started a breastfeeding support clinic. My years of providing lactation care allowed me to serve as President of US Lactation Consultants Association, Chair of the Texas Breastfeeding Coalition, and winner of the UT Health President’s Award for Leadership.

Tyler MurphreeAccount Manager

I am a graduate of Texas Tech University, where I received my degree in Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management. My experience in public health has provided me with the tools to be an effective leader and communicator. I advocate for patients, always striving to treat others the way I would want my own family to be treated. I pride myself in being a very honest person while keeping, a Patient comes first, mentality. I consider myself adaptable and approachable, allowing me to have a long-lasting rapport with patients and providers.
I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and watching sports. I also love to travel and experience new things.

Janet ShannonPatient Care Manager

I have worked in healthcare for the past 21 years. My career has spanned the healthcare industry from private dental clinics to hospitals. I have been with The Breast Pump Depot for the past five years. Being part of the BPD Team allows me the opportunity to ensure our customers and partners receive five-star service every day.

My free time is spent with my family gardening, camping, and enjoying my grandchildren.

I am a graduate of Southern Methodist University with degrees in Health & Society, Biology, and Spanish. I am an experienced healthcare account manager and pride myself in providing the best possible service to our partners. Improving access to healthcare is a passion of mine and I strive to do that every day through my work.

Sara KingOutreach Representative for Minnesota

I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Metropolitan State University where I delved into the complexities of maternal health while focusing on the profound connections between mind and body. My passion for nurturing the bond between mother and child and the incredible benefits of breast feeding led me to my career with PHS and Breast Pump Depot. My background in Home Care and Hospitality has taught me the importance of communication and creating meaningful relationships to build trust with our Hospitals, Clinics and other partners. During my free time I enjoy spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, traveling, kayaking, and playing outside with my daughter.

I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Business and minors in Communications & Journalism and Leadership. My Academic background has equipped me with a diverse skill set and a broad perspective. I have a deep passion for healthcare and am dedicated to helping others. Through our innovative products, I aim to support and nurture the connections between parents and their babies. My goal is to make a positive impact in this field and contribute to the well-being of families.
